Subject: Buses idling front of hotel windows Carden St
Starting at 5.33 am going to 5.46 am bus 20 idled its bus engine in front of hotel cranked up high. This makes it so none of the units on the south side of the hotel can be rented. Any of the occupied rooms this morning are awake right now. The driver at peace with the world reads the newspaper while his bus idles. This happens every morning i have ever checked and basically every one of the 15 buses or whatever idles between 12 and 17 minutes the first run of the day. All of this in spite of the most solumn promises by city hall officials elected and non elected. At the same time in front of the hotel bus 21 logged ten minutes with engine running.

Reply Email to Mayor Farbridge and Councillors from City Staff: June 11th, 2012:
I acknowledge Alex’s complaint and am working with Transit operations to see if this issue can be resolved quickly. As the Acting GM Guelph Transit during Michael’s holidays, I plan on following up as soon as I can.
